Mission

CLIA standards were established “to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of patient test results regardless of where the test was performed.” The MGL - NICHD provides service to clinical researchers, including identification and confirmation of mutations for release to patients and physicians. The primary mission of MGL–NICHD is to provide DNA sequence data of the gene(s) requested on the submitted DNA samples.
